At the start of 2024 Khadhok organised its first exhibition at a gallery. The Other Space on Jogiwara Road in Dharamsala gave Khadhok the platform to showcase the works of the three local Tibetan artists for three months: Jigme Choedak, Tashi Nyima and Tenzin Melak.
THE THIN LINE The thin line is the smallest boundary dividing an artist’s emotional perception of a single hue. While each artist’s emotional response to a hue may vary, the colors themselves remain consistent, drawn from the same color wheel. This subtle boundary highlights the unique interplay between a universally recognized palette and the deeply personal, subjective experience of each artist. Despite the shared framework of the color wheel, the interpretation and emotional resonance of each hue are uniquely expressed to the individual artist’s perspective.
